Position  :  Chief Operation Officer

Location  :  Sanchaung Tsp, Yangon


Responsibilities:

1. Operational Excellence: 

 - Develop and implement operational strategies to ensure the efficient functioning of all restaurants within the chain.

   - Set and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure operational effectiveness and make data-driven improvements.

   - Ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality standards across all locations.

2. Financial Management:

 - Manage and optimize restaurant budgets, including cost control, revenue growth, and profit margins.

   - Identify opportunities for cost savings and revenue enhancement.

   - Analyze financial reports and take proactive measures to address variances.

3. Franchise Management:

 - Oversee franchise relationships and agreements, ensuring adherence to brand standards.   - Expand the brand through franchise development, strategic partnerships, and new store openings.

4. Supply Chain and Inventory Management:

 - Manage the supply chain, including sourcing, procurement, and distribution.

   - Maintain efficient inventory levels and minimize waste while ensuring product availability.

5. Team Leadership and Development:

 - Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing operations team.

   - Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

   - Provide coaching and professional development opportunities for team members.

6. Market Expansion:

 - Collaborate with the executive team to develop and execute growth strategies.

   - Identify new market opportunities and oversee market research to support expansion plans.

Job Requirements (JR):

1. Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field (MBA preferred).

2. Experience:

  • Proven track record of at least 5 years in restaurant operations, with a minimum of 2 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Experience in scaling and managing a chain of restaurants or similar multi-location business.

3. Strategic Leadership:

  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to align operational efforts with the company's overall vision and goals.

4. Financial Acumen:

  • Solid financial management skills, including budgeting and financial analysis.
  • Experience in driving profitability and managing costs.

5. Franchise Expertise:

  • Familiarity with franchise operations and agreements.
  • Proven success in expanding a brand through franchising.

6. Team Management:

  • Exceptional leadership and team-building skills.
  • Experience in recruiting, training, and developing high-performing teams.

7. Industry Knowledge:

  •  In-depth knowledge of the restaurant industry, including trends and best practices.
  •  Familiarity with food safety and regulatory requirements.

8. Communication Skills:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners.

9. Adaptability: 

  •  Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  •   Willingness to travel as needed.
