Position - Class Teacher (M/F - 2 Posts)

Salary - Negotiate

Business - Education

Working Days & Hours - 5.5 Days per Week (8:30 AM ~ 4:30 PM)

Location - Yangon & Mandalay

Job Description: 

  • Check the classroom is clean and safe. 
  • Check all the materials are properly displayed in relevant area. 
  • Meet, greet and welcome to all students and parents.
  • Lead parent-teacher meetings and classroom activities. 
  • Engage with all the teachers and admin team.
  • Employ a variety of educational techniques.
  • Organize nap and snack hours and supervise children to ensure they are safe at all times.
  • Track children’s progress and report to parents.
  • Observe each child to help them improve their milestones, social competencies and build self-esteem
  • Complete work and meet deadlines.
  • Report to “Management Team” when the students have special matters.
  • Attend weekly internal meeting and Management Meetings. 

Classroom Management and Instmeetingsruction: 

  • Develop and implement the age-appropriate curriculum that promote social, emotional, cognitive and physical development. 
  • Develop and utilize engaging learning materials and activities. 
  • Monitor student progress, assess learning, and provide written reports.

Student Development: 

  • Observe, guide, supervise, and assess children during classroom activities.
  • Foster a positive learning environment that promotes independence, self-discovery, and a love of learning. 
  • Encourage positive social interaction and teamwork among students. 

Professionalism and Communication: 

  • Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times. 
  • Communicate openly and respectfully with parents, colleagues, supervisors, and other staff members.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities such as conferences and workshops.

General Requirements: 

  • Be a keen observer of children's behavior and development.
  • Provide a safe, thriving, and respectful environment for all students in the classroom.
  • Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in response to changing schedules and workloads.
  • Must wear the uniform or provided dress code.
  • Take care of your physical and mental health to ensure optimal job performance. 

Job Requirement

  • Any Graduate
  • At least 3 yrs Exp in teaching early year
  • ECCD Diploma
