Job Description: 

• Network Operations & Maintenance:
• Monitor network performance and ensure system availability and reliability.
• Must able to configure VLAN, Routing & Switching. Need to handle firewall configuration.
• Configure and install various network devices and services (e.g., routers, switches,
• Firewalls, load balancers, VPN, QoS).
• Perform network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches, hotfixes, and security configurations.
• Provide Level 2 support and troubleshooting for network incidents and requests.
• Identify, diagnose, and resolve network problems, escalating complex issues to Level 3 support or external vendors as necessary.
• Able to handle CCTV and related issues.
• Need to provide documentation and report to Technical Manager.
• Network Design & Implementation:
• Assist in the design and implementation of new networking solutions and improvements to existing network architecture.
• Support project teams in the delivery of network-related tasks and ensure alignment with overall project timelines.
• Document network designs, configurations, processes, and procedures.

Security & Compliance:

• Implement and manage network security protocols and best practices, including firewall configurations, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems.
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies and industry regulations.
• Conduct regular security assessments and recommend improvements.
• Collaboration & Communication:
• Collaborate with other IT teams to integrate network systems with other technology infrastructure.
• Communicate network status, updates, and issues to management and stakeholders.
• Provide training and guidance to junior network engineers and IT staff.
• Must able to work 24/7 hours and need to travel if necessary.
• Must be able work under pressure and timeline.

Job Requirement

Required Qualification: 

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. (or equivalent experience).
• Experience: 3 – 5 years of experience in networking engineering or a related role, with a focus on supporting complex networks.
• Certificates: CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent certifications preferred.

Technical Skills:

• In-depth knowledge of networking protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, MPLS, TCP/IP).
• Experience with Cisco, Juniper, or other networking equipment.
• Strong understanding of network security practices and tools (e.g., firewalls & VPN).
• Proficient in network monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
• Familiarity with virtualization and cloud-based networking (e.g., VMware and Microsoft Azure).
