Location - Yangon Downtown

Job Description

  • Develop the Financial Management System and Internal Financial Control.
  • Own Integration of Financial Planning Procedures, SOPs, and ways of working across the Organization. 
  • Direct and Further Improve Accounting and Internal Control Policies, Procedures and systems necessary for proper accounting practices, Controls, and Services 
  • Ensure of ALCO related to reports for every month end. 
  • Oversee the production of Financial Results and Report, in Compliance with the required Standards. 
  • Manage the Financial Budget and Projections Processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness and Efficient usage of the company Assets and Resources. 
  • Evaluating the Financial Performance of the Organization and measure returns on investments. 
  • Responsible for the day-to day management of the Finance Department
  • To act as the Department's Finance Staff Development lead, assisting the CFO of Finance in the development of finance staff and the department at large. 
  • Encourage wide development opportunities for staff at all levels encouraging professional qualifications as well as continuing professional development. 
  • To maintain and develop the financial systems that underpin strong financial governance processes within the bank and to support the governance structure. 
  • To constantly review policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations and fitness for purpose. Ensuring changes are reported for agreement within the scheme of delegation as required. 
  • To lead on designated projects as determined by the CFO. 
  • Use information to improve service delivery through the analysis of data over time, comparing outcomes and trends to relevant benchmarks. 
  • Promote a culture of change within and by the department encapsulating the initiatives promoted within the bank both behaviorally and in the management of change.

Job Requirement 

  • A minimum of bachelor’s degree that is related to the field of accounting. (Master is Preferred). 
  • A Professional Diploma either from ACCA, CPA, CFA. 
  • At Least (8) years Financial Management Experience in Banking Field and (1) year experience in same Position. 
  • Leadership Skills, Computer Skills (Word, Excel & PowerPoint) 
  • Up to date Knowledge of Current Financial and Accounting Computer Applications 
  • Excellent verbal, Analytical, Organizational and Written Skills.
