Position - Maintenance Specialist (M/F - 1 Post)

Working Days & Hours - Monday to Friday (8:30 AM ~ 4:30 PM)

Location - Hlegu, Yangon

Job Description: 

Leadership, Organization and Culture Development:

• Ensure alignment of priorities and integration of key activities or projects with group head of maintenance
• Ensure projects are completed as per required quality, on time and within budget in coordination with other departments at country level and at group level
• Establish, review, update policies, processes and procedures to ensure efficient operations
• Identify and anticipate risks that may have potential adverse impact on plant operations. Provide support to develop and implement a risk mitigation management plan / business continuity plan in coordination.
• Demonstrates adherence to company values and mission

Assets management and maintenance:

• Setup and maintain protection plan for security of all property
• Set up maintenance plan for assets and equipment and review regularly with possibly improvement actions in coordination with group function head
• Ensure maintenance plan is properly executed and take corrective actions in case of deviations
• Track expenses and oversee the budget for maintenance
• Conducting regular inspections of the facilities to detect and resolve problems
• Repair or oversee repairs and installation activities
• Oversee repair schedules and evaluate repair cost estimates
• Oversee documentation and preparation of progress reports and maintenance log
• planning and carrying out scheduled maintenance.
• Responding to emergencies
• Diagnosing faults
• Order specialist components, fixtures or fittings
• Manage stocks of spare parts

Health and Safety

• Ensure equipment / machinery can be operated safely to ensure safety of the factory workers.
• Ensure fire extinguishers are well maintained and training is performed periodically

Job Requirement

• Minimum Requirements (Skill, Experience, Education) 

Skills:

• Prove skills in industrial environment
• Proven technical skills in Electrical and/or Mechanical discipline
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Can-do attitude
• Knowledge of Maintenance System tools would be an advantage
• Proficient with Google Office Suite or related software
• Fluent in Burmese language, and at minimum basic English language
• Knowledge of agriculture would be a plus but not mandatory

Experience:

• Min. 5 years of experience including min. 2 years in a similar role maintaining industrial facilities and equipment

Education:

• Min, bachelor in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, industrial engineering or other relevant engineering discipline.
