Location – Manila (Philippines) based
Responsibilities:
- Conduct financial analysis, forecasting, and budgeting for clients across various industries.
- Assist in preparation of client financial reports and internal financial summaries for management
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual management reports, highlighting key performance indicators (KPIs) and trends.
- Analyze variances between actual financial results and budgets, identifying areas for improvement.
- Assist clients in developing financial plans, strategies, and goals aligned with their business objectives.
- Collaborate with clients' management teams to provide insights and recommendations on cost reduction, revenue enhancement, and profitability improvement.
- Conduct profitability analysis by product, service, customer, or business segment to optimize resources and investments.
- Monitor and evaluate financial performance against industry benchmarks and competitors.
- Assist in the implementation of financial systems, processes, and controls to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Provide support during audits and liaise with external auditors as needed.
- Stay updated with accounting standards, regulations, and industry trends to provide informed guidance to clients.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA, CMA, or other relevant certifications preferred.
- Proven experience as a Management Accountant, Financial Analyst, or similar role, preferably in an accounting firm or consulting environment.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and trends.
- Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting techniques.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively present findings and recommendations to clients.
- Advanced knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and tax regulations.
- Experience with financial software and ERP systems; proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other analytical tools.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple clients, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach to client service.
- Flexibility and willingness to travel to other locations as required for business needs.
