Job Description: 

Inspect and Diagnose

• Inspect vehicles to identify mechanical or electrical problems.
• Use diagnostic equipment to determine the root cause of issues.

Repair and Maintenance

• Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, brake servicing, and tire rotation.
• Repair or replace defective parts (engine components, transmission, suspension, etc.).
• Test and ensure vehicles are in good working condition after repairs.

Record Keeping

• Maintain accurate records of services and repairs performed.
• Report major repair needs or recurring issues to the Supervisor or Workshop Manager.

Tools and Equipment

• Properly use, maintain, and store tools and diagnostic equipment.
• Ensure workshop area is kept clean and safe at all times.

Safety and Compliance

• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with vehicle and environmental regulations.

Teamwork and Support

• Assist other mechanics and provide technical guidance when required.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and other departments.

Job Requirement:

• Certificate/Diploma in Automotive, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in vehicle maintenance and repair.
• Good knowledge of automotive systems (engine, transmission, electrical, etc.).
• Ability to use diagnostic tools and repair equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Physically fit and able to work in a workshop environment.
