Job Description:
Inspect and Diagnose
- Inspect vehicles to identify mechanical or electrical problems.
- Use diagnostic equipment to determine the root cause of issues.
Repair and Maintenance
- Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, brake servicing, and tire rotation.
- Repair or replace defective parts (engine components, transmission, suspension, etc.).
- Test and ensure vehicles are in good working condition after repairs.
Record Keeping
- Maintain accurate records of services and repairs performed.
- Report major repair needs or recurring issues to the Supervisor or Workshop Manager.
Tools and Equipment
- Properly use, maintain, and store tools and diagnostic equipment.
- Ensure workshop area is kept clean and safe at all times.
Safety and Compliance
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with vehicle and environmental regulations.
Teamwork and Support
- Assist other mechanics and provide technical guidance when required.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and other departments.
Job Requirement:
- Certificate/Diploma in Automotive, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in vehicle maintenance and repair.
- Good knowledge of automotive systems (engine, transmission, electrical, etc.).
- Ability to use diagnostic tools and repair equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Physically fit and able to work in a workshop environment.
