Job Description: 

Operation Assignment:

• He is tasked with starting, synchronizing, and stopping of generator sets as well as record all parameters/data which is required for power plant routine reports.
• Reporting to management and communication with client according to set practices.

Statement of Duties:

• Starting process (manual or auto) of generator set according to Standard Operating Procedure.
• Synchronizing process (manual or auto) with the grid or customer busbar.
• Adjust generator set load as per instruction from plant management (General Manager, Plant manager, O&M Manager), supervisors, Shift leaders and the customer’s demand.
• Stopping process (Manual or Auto) of generator set according to Standard Operating Procedure.
• Collect and record generator / engine Logs, data of KWH meter / gas meter / engine
• oil consumption, Transformers log & OCS at set interval.
• Regularly checks condition of generator sets at Engine Management system
• (DIA.NE.XT) and engine rooms and fixing / repairing minor problems of
• Generator, engine and auxiliary components (e.g., cooling pipelines, oil pipelines, enclosure..)
• Note down finding/actions in respective engine log book in details.
• Report to respective Shift Leader.

Provide service report

• Closely monitor the generator set status from DIA.NE.Win,HMI,MyPalnt desktop. Respond and take quick action for any alarms or abnormal conditions to prevent engine trips, power reduction and breakdown. Upon completion of remedial action, record the action stating the reason of the problems and inform to respective Shift Leader.
• Routine check MV room condition, 11KV & 33KV cubicles, Battery chargers, Transformers Protection Panels, Aux: panels, Power & Distribution Transformers and Gas Skid.
• Any abnormalities, to report immediately to respective shift leader.
• To do daily housekeeping in Control rooms, Engine rooms, MV room, Operation room & work areas. To clean the generator set , panels (if found oil/water leakage, dirty ..).
• Cooperate and assist in repair, replacement, troubleshooting for Breakdown/corrective/preventive maintenance activities.
• Any other reasonable ad-hoc duties assigned by the Management and Supervisors.
• Implements company policies during his duty in power plant.
• Recommends operational as well as organizational improvement when needed.
• Perform emergency response action during emergencies (including fires, earthquake, riots, etc).
• Perform first aid action when injuries or accident occur.
• Perform safety induction and follow HSE rules at all times.

Maintenance Assignment:

• He is tasked with corrective, preventive maintenance works, service for engine breakdown, overhauling and engine upgrading.
• He shall report to maintenance in charge, Assistant O & M manager, O & M Manager and any other person who shall be appointed to supervise his activities on behalf of O & M manager, maintenance in charge, Assistant O & M manager.

Statement of Duties:

• Daily maintenance works for generator sets according to standard maintenance procedure and instructions.

Troubleshooting

• Operation duties (as per operation assignment & statement of duties) when needed occasionally OR regularly.
• Starting, synchronizing, and stopping of generator sets when needed occasionally (such as plant shutdown, grid system breakdown, engine tripped due to feeders’ fault & due to other cause or reason.). Standard Operating Procedure has to be applied.
• Any other reasonable ad-hoc duties assigned by the Management and Supervisors. Implements company policies during his duty in power plant.
• Recommends O & M works as well as organizational improvement when needed.

Job Requirement:

• B.E (Mechanical), B.E (Electrical)
• Above (2) years in power plant
• Have experience in heavy machinery service, mechanical fields
• Preferable experience in internal combustion engine -operation & maintenance, heavy machinery service,
• Microsoft Office (Esp: Excel, word)
• Teamwork & Coordination, Problem-solving, Dependability, Adaptability & Flexibility
• Fluent in Myanmar and English
• Have Power Plant Knowledge
