Working Days & Hours - Monday to Saturday (Shift)

Location -Dagon Township

Job Description: 

  • Facilitate the management of implementing pharmacy best practices, engaging in assessing the safety of newly deployed medications, managing inventory and storage of medications.
  • Work as/lead an integral team with pharmacy staff and other disciplines to deliver medication safety and to meet MMU quality standards.
  • Dispense prescription medication and provide pharmacological information to patients. 
  • Provide billing information for medications.
  • Facilitate system change process. Establish processes to improve medication management.
  • Actively engaged in medication error mitigation and prevention.
  • Lead an effort in error identifications of harmful medication error cases. 
  • Responsible for pharmacy inventory management activities including ordering, counting, receiving, pricing, making stock report and facilitating returns. 
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
  • Support health care activities and team.
  • Respond to patients and their relatives’ inquiries, concerns and complaints.

Job Requirement:

  • Bachelor’s Degree Holder in Pharmacy.
  • At least 2-3 years of clinical experience in hospital/clinic. 
  • Have a full understanding of Medication Management and Use (MMU), in reference of  international/professional hospital standards i.e. JCI, AHA.
  • Be able to influence the culture of safety for medication management.
  • Be able to work independently with minimal guidance.
  • Have strong leadership, analytical and decision making skills.
  • Have good interpersonal and coordination skills. Be able to collaborate with various parties.
  • Detail oriented, service minded, safety and quality concerns.
  • Able to work under pressure and possess multitasking skills.
  • Good computer skills.
  • Strong language skills both Burmese and English speaking and writing.
