Job Descriptions
- Operate and control chemical process equipment including filling lines according to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Monitor process parameters throughout production and filling to ensure safety, quality, and efficiency.
- Assist in start-up, shut-down, and changeover procedures as needed.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on equipment and instruments.
- Manage the transfer and handling of chemicals, ensuring accurate measurement and adherence to safety procedures.
- Ensure proper documentation of process conditions, batch records, filling activities, incidents, and maintenance activities.
- Prepare products for delivery or shipment, ensuring compliance with customer specifications and delivery schedules.
- Support loading, unloading, and logistics activities related to ISO tanks, IBCs, and drums.
- Familiarize with and adhere to emergency response procedures, including response to chemical spills, leaks, or accidents.
- Respond promptly and effectively to emergency situations, ensuring safety of personnel and the environment.
- Comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations at all times.
- Participate in process improvement projects and suggest enhancements for safety, efficiency, and quality.
- Assist in training new team members and operators as needed.
- Any other duties which your immediate supervisor or Manager may assign as needed
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Chemical Engineering, Process Technology, Chemistry, or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in chemical manufacturing or process operation, filling operations, or logistics.
- Experience with process control systems, equipment operation, chemical handling, filling processes, and shipping/delivery preparation preferred.
- Knowledge of process control systems.
- Understanding of emergency response procedures related to chemical handling.
- Strong attention to safety, quality, and detail.
- Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to operate efficiently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Physically fit and capable of wearing PPE for extended periods.
- Basic knowledge in MS Excel and data recording/logging.
- Basic or intermediate skills in spoken and written English
