Position – Process Technician (M – 2 Posts)

Working Days & Hours - Monday to Friday (8:00 AM ~ 5:00 PM)

Location – Thilawa Special Economic Zone, Kyauk Tan Tsp

Job Descriptions

  • Operate and control chemical process equipment including filling lines according to standard operating procedures (SOPs). 
  • Monitor process parameters throughout production and filling to ensure safety, quality, and efficiency. 
  • Assist in start-up, shut-down, and changeover procedures as needed. 
  • Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on equipment and instruments. 
  • Manage the transfer and handling of chemicals, ensuring accurate measurement and adherence to safety procedures. 
  • Ensure proper documentation of process conditions, batch records, filling activities, incidents, and maintenance activities. 
  • Prepare products for delivery or shipment, ensuring compliance with customer specifications and delivery schedules. 
  • Support loading, unloading, and logistics activities related to ISO tanks, IBCs, and drums. 
  • Familiarize with and adhere to emergency response procedures, including response to chemical spills, leaks, or accidents. 
  • Respond promptly and effectively to emergency situations, ensuring safety of personnel and the environment. 
  • Comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations at all times. 
  • Participate in process improvement projects and suggest enhancements for safety, efficiency, and quality. 
  • Assist in training new team members and operators as needed. 
  • Any other duties which your immediate supervisor or Manager may assign as needed 

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Chemical Engineering, Process Technology, Chemistry, or related field. 
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in chemical manufacturing or process operation, filling operations, or logistics. 
  • Experience with process control systems, equipment operation, chemical handling, filling processes, and shipping/delivery preparation preferred. 
  • Knowledge of process control systems. 
  • Understanding of emergency response procedures related to chemical handling. 
  • Strong attention to safety, quality, and detail. 
  • Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and teamwork skills. 
  • Ability to operate efficiently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. 
  • Physically fit and capable of wearing PPE for extended periods. 
  • Basic knowledge in MS Excel and data recording/logging. 
  • Basic or intermediate skills in spoken and written English
