Position - QS Engineer/ Estimation Engineer (F - 1 Post)

Salary - Up to 1,500,000 MMK + Accommodation + Meals + Rest Allowance + Bonus + OT

Off Days & Working Hours - 2 Days per Month & 8:00 AM ~ 5:00 PM

Location - Keng Tung (Eastern Shan State)

Job Description: 

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for interior decoration and construction projects.
• Develop and manage budgets aligned with project goals and timelines.
• Draft and manage subcontract agreements.
• Evaluate and negotiate quotations with subcontractors.
• Manage and verify interim payments and variation orders from subcontractors.
• Review and negotiate draft contracts and documents to safeguard company interests.
• Monitor project expenses, implement cost control strategies, and conduct financial analysis.
• Identify potential financial risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Plan project budgets and schedules and ensure successful completion of each project.
• Provide regular financial reports, including detailed budget status and forecasts.
• Negotiate with vendors to achieve optimal pricing.
• Manage accounting records and ensure timely payment processing.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and regulations across all financial aspects of the project.
• Collaborate closely with project managers, architects, and designers for effective project implementation.
• Maintain strong client relationships and resolve cost-related concerns.

Job Requirement

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 8 years of relevant QS experience, especially in interior or construction works.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills for budgeting and estimation.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate with clients, contractors, and team members.
• Strong negotiation skills for contract agreements.
• In-depth knowledge of project management practices and QS methodologies.
• Ability to prepare accurate and detailed cost and financial reports.
