Position - Quantity Surveyor cum Contract Administration  (M/F - 1 Post)

Salary - Up to 1,000,000 MMK

Business - Wholesales & Retail of Project Lighting

Working Days & Hours - Mondy to Friday (9:00 AM ~ 5:30 PM)

Location -  Yankin

Job Description: 

  • Contract Administration: Vetting through tender or awarded contracts, providing advice and changes to contract terms.
  • Risk Management: Identify and assess potential financial risks throughout the project and propose solutions to mitigate these risks.
  • Progress Claim Preparation and Certification Monitoring: Prepare progressive claims to contractors/client ensuring accuracy and timely submission and track project certifications so that invoice can be issued, ensuring that it adheres to timelines and that financial targets are met.
  • Variation Management: Assess and keeping track of project order’s changes with price variations or changes in the scope of work for projects
  • Final Accounts: Prepare final accounts for the project, ensuring all costs are accounted for, and settlements with contractors/clients are completed.
  • Cost Reporting: Provide detailed cost reports and analysis to stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and to management.
  • Dispute Resolution: Assist in resolving disputes related to costs, payments, and contractual obligations, providing necessary documentation and support for negotiations or legal processes.

Job Requirement

Skills and Qualifications Required:

  • Educational Requirements: A degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related fields.

  • Strong analytical and numerical skills

  • Good understanding of construction processes and construction contract law
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Experience: Relevant experience in the construction or engineering sector, particularly in contracts and cost management.
