Position - Assistant Landscaping Manager (M- 1 Post)

Salary - Up to 1,000,000 MMK +*Transportation +Medical Benefits + Others Benefits According to The Company Policy

Working Days & Hours - Monday to Friday (8:30 AM ~ 5:30 pm)

Location - Thanlyin Township,Yangon

Job Description:

• Responsible for overseeing and managing the maintenance and development of outdoor spaces, such

as parks, gardens, golf courses, or commercial landscapes. Coordinating and supervising a team of

landscape technicians or gardeners to ensure that the landscape is well-maintained and meets the

desired aesthetic and functional standards.

• Collaborate with landscape architects or designers to develop landscape plans and designs.

• Determine appropriate plant species, horticultural techniques, and irrigation systems to create and

maintain desired landscapes. Assess the site conditions, soil quality, and environmental factors to plan

and implement appropriate landscaping strategies.

• Recruit, train, and supervise a team of landscape technicians or gardeners. Delegate tasks and

responsibilities effectively to ensure efficient operations and timely completion of projects.

• Provide guidance and support to team members, promoting professional growth and development.

Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures for the upkeep of landscapes.

• Oversee the proper care of plants, trees, lawns, and other elements within the landscape.

• Monitor and manage irrigation systems, pest control programs, and fertilization plans.

• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and proper handling of equipment, tools, and chemicals.

Prepare and manage the landscape department's budget, including expenses for supplies, equipment,

and personnel.

• Plan and coordinate landscape construction or renovation projects, including hardscaping, planting,

and irrigation installations.

• Collaborate with contractors, vendors, and suppliers to ensure timely project completion and

adherence to specifications. Conduct site inspections and quality control to ensure work meets

industry standards and client expectations.

• Interact with clients, property owners, or stakeholders to understand their requirements and

preferences. Provide recommendations and advice on landscape design, maintenance, and

improvement.

• Maintain accurate records of landscape activities, including maintenance schedules, plant inventories,

and equipment maintenance logs.

• Prepare regular reports on landscape conditions, project progress, and budget performance.

• Present findings and recommendations to senior management or clients as required.

 

Job Requirement

• (5) years & above working experienced in related field and minimum (3) years of experience in

managerial skills

• Any bachelor’s degree

• Able to think creatively within budget and strong leadership & technical skills.

• Sustainability and Environmental Stewardship

• Team player with analytical and problem-solving skill

• Proficiency in using MS Office Application, Internet & Email

• Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
