Position - Business Development Manager (M/F - 1 Post)
Salary - 2,000,000 MMK ~ 3,000,000 MMK + Transportation + Mobile Phone + Health Insurance
Business - Foreign Chamber of Commerce
Working Days & Hours - Monday to Friday (8:30 AM ~ 5:30 PM)
Location - Kamayut Township
Main responsibilities
- Membership Growth & Engagement
- Lead membership acquisition efforts in growing the target set annually.
- Maintain strong relationships with members, ensuring satisfaction and value delivery.
- Conduct and analyze the annual member satisfaction survey (≥85% target).
- Ensure 100% up-to-date membership database with monthly reviews.
- Identify and propose new membership benefits.
Events & Sponsorships
- Oversee an annual calendar of 40–45 events aligned with FMCCI priorities.
- Supervise smooth event execution, speaker engagement, and post-event feedback collection.
- Ensure timely event promotion (≥3 weeks in advance) and 90% of target attendance.
- Contribute to achieving annual event income and support the acquisition of acquisition of sponsorship income in collaboration with CEO/the Board.
Training Programs & Business Services
- Drive visibility and promotion of training programs.
- Update Annual Training Catalogue and Services Catalogues
- Coordinate delivery of annual training and commercial service income.
- Ensure 80% of members are reached with training offers; follow up 100% of inquiries within 5 business days.
- Conduct biannual training needs surveys with ≥50% response rate.
- Promote services through newsletters, LinkedIn, and BD channels.
Communications & Visibility
- Supervise the development and execution of communication strategies across platforms.
- Ensure quality and consistency of newsletters, press reviews, digital campaigns, and marketing content.
- Collaborate with the Digital Marketing and Creatvie Specialist to increase engagement by 20% quarterly.
- Oversee visual updates, branding efforts, and member-facing promotional materials.
Data, Reporting & Strategic Input
- Produce reports for the AGM, strategic board sessions, and activity updates.
- Monitor KPIs for each responsibility area and adapt actions based on performance data.
- Provide strategic insights to the CEO for decision-making and planning.
People Management
- Lead and coach the Business Development Officer, Events & Comms Officer, and Digital Marketing Creative Specialist
- Conduct biweekly check-ins, track task completion (target 90% on time), and foster team collaboration.
- Ensure quarterly team satisfaction score of ≥4/5 through structured feedback and guidance.
Research & Publications
- Collaborate with the Chief Executive Officer on HR and other surveys related to main publications, including project design, questionnaire development, data analysis, and report structuring;
- Analyze quantitative and qualitative data to draft impact reports that clearly communicate findings and provide high-quality advisory services;
- General Administration
- Prepare provisional budgets for services, activities, missions, and operations;
- Liaise with the Finance Department for payables and receivables;
- Educational background
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business management, communications, public relations or equivalent.

- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
