• Efficient management of claims from first advice of loss to ultimate settlement.
• Factual and statistical analyses, reserve setting, and payment liability advisory.
• Managing loss adjusters including legal advice and strategy.
• Overseeing recovery of claims.
• Preparation of client risk management presentations and articles.
• Managing complex claims including liability claims.
• Managing clients’ queries and expectations in a timely manner.
• Manage timely production of management information and proactively identify loss trends.
• Develop and maintain strong relationship with internal and external stakeholders.
• Implement Service Standards claims procedure to ensure efficient and accurate reporting, management, and settlement of claims.
• Input and maintain accurate claims records for all accounts
• Maintain regulatory compliance at all times; participate in and manage the outcomes of internal and external audits of the business function including those for the company’s auditor, the MAS, Internal Audit and others as may be necessary.
• Adhere to Group Policies & Standards of Service.
• Training and development of team and technical referral point for other claims handlers.
• Ad hoc tasks as relevant
Job Requirements:-
• Qualified lawyer or Any Degree in Commerce with at least 3 years working experience with insurance company or Any Certificate on the Insurance- General
• Current Head of Claim in an insurance broking or general insurance environment with more than 5 years of working experience
• Regional capabilities.
