Position - Logistics Supervisor (M/F - 1 Post)

Salary - Negotiate + Ferry + Meal Allowance

Business - Agricultural

Working Days & Hours - Monday to Friday (8:30 AM ~ 5:00 PM)

Location - Mingalar Taung Nyunt Township

Job Description: 

  • Develop and implement logistics strategies, policies, and procedures to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
  • Coordinate with various internal departments including sis companies, suppliers, and transportation providers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods.
  • Plan and schedule shipments based on customer orders, inventory levels, and production requirements.
  • Implement inventory control measures, such as cycle counting, stock reconciliation, and optimization of storage space.
  • Coordinate with the procurement team to ensure timely replenishment of inventory.
  • Collaborate with procurement colleagues to identify suitable third party logistics providers
  • Coordinate and optimize freight activities, including routing, consolidation, and mode of transportation.
  • Track and trace shipments to ensure on-time delivery and proactively address any potential delays or issues.
  • Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, customs requirements, and documentation procedures.
  • Coordinate with customs brokers and relevant authorities to facilitate smooth customs clearance of imported and exported goods.
  • Stay updated with changes in trade regulations and implement necessary adjustments in export and import processes.
  • Lead and supervise a team of logistic personnel, warehouse staff, and other support personnel.
  • Set performance goals, provide guidance and feedback, and conduct regular performance evaluations.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction in logistics operations.
  • Implement best practices and technological solutions to optimize logistics efficiency.
  • Analyze logistics data and generate reports to assess performance metrics and identify areas for improvement.
  • And any ad hoc assignment given by senior management.

Job Requirement

  • Min. bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in logistics operations
  • Familiar with matrix organization.
  • Strong knowledge of international trade regulations, customs procedures, and documentation requirements.
  • Proficiency Google Suite, Microsoft package & system related to logistic field.
  • Able to speak and write Burmese and English at a professional level.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and build relationships with external stakeholders.
  • Leadership and team management skills, with a focus on developing and motivating team members.
