Job Description:
- Oversee day-to-day remittance operations, including transaction processing, settlement, and reconciliation.
- Ensure all inward and outward remittance transactions are processed accurately and within SLA timelines.
- Liaise with international money transfer operators (e.g., Western Union, MoneyGram, Ria, etc.) and banking partners for smooth operations.
- Ensure compliance with local and international AML/CFT regulations, central bank guidelines, and internal policies.
- Supervise and train operations staff and ensure high levels of productivity and accuracy.
- Monitor system performance and coordinate with IT for system upgrades, troubleshooting, and integration.
- Resolve escalated customer and agent issues promptly and professionally.
- Prepare and submit regulatory reports, including daily, monthly, and quarterly remittance statistics.
- Collaborate with finance to ensure accurate settlement, billing, and reporting.
- Ensure proper documentation, recordkeeping, and transaction security protocols are followed.
Job Requirement
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related field (mandatory).
- Minimum 5–7 years of experience in remittance, banking, or financial services.
- At least 3 years in a managerial/supervisory role within remittance or payment operations.
- Strong knowledge of local and international remittance procedures and compliance frameworks.
- In-depth knowledge of remittance platforms, payment systems, and compliance requirements.
- Good command of English (spoken and written).
