Position: Research & Development Formulation Officer (1 Post)

Working Days: Monday – Saturday

Working Hours: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM

Location: Thaketa Township

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and test new lab-scale formulas.

• Improve existing formulas for cost, quality, and performance.

• Test pH, viscosity, color, scent, foaming, and stability.

• Manage and reduce formula costs to meet targets.

• Select raw materials (surfactants, thickeners, preservatives, fragrances).

• Compare supplier specs, pricing, COA, TDS, and SDS.

• Verify raw material quality against company standards.

• Support the shift from lab trials to mass production.

• Fix production issues like separation, pH drift, or viscosity errors.

• Keep detailed records of formulas, tests, and costs.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Pharmacy, Biotechnology, or a related field.

• 1–3 years in R&D within Personal Care, Cosmetics, Detergents, Home Care, or FMCG industries.

• Hands-on experience with liquid soap, hand wash, body wash/shower gel, and dishwashing liquid (preferred).

• Solid understanding of raw materials and ability to interpret COA, TDS, and SDS/MSDS.

• Hands-on experience with laboratory equipment like pH meters, viscometers, and digital scales.

• Proficient in formula calculations, product costing, and MS Excel.

• Strong problem-solving, batch troubleshooting, and supplier coordination skills.
