Position - Senior HR/ HR Manager (M/F - 1 Post)

Salary - Above 1,500,000 MMK 

Business - Retail Industry

Working Days & Hours - Monday to Saturday (9:00 AM ~ 5:00 PM)

Location - Mingalar Taung Nyunt Township

Job Description: 

  • Develop, implement, and regularly update HR policies and SOPs in line with labor laws and company goals.
  • Standardize processes related to recruitment, onboarding, attendance, leave, discipline, performance reviews, and termination.
  • Ensure that all HR policies and procedures adhere to Myanmar labor laws 
  • Design and implement department-wise and individual Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Collaborate with department heads to align KPIs with business objectives.
  • Monitor, evaluate, and report on performance trends; recommend improvements or corrective actions.
  • Identify training needs through performance reviews and skill gap analyses.
  • Design annual training plans (technical, soft skills, compliance, etc.).
  • Source or coordinate with external/internal trainers. Monitor training effectiveness and ROI.
  • Supervise and mentor junior HR staff; assign tasks and monitor performance.
  • Conduct regular team meetings and one-on-ones to support HR team development.
  • Ensure smooth daily HR operations (payroll, recruitment, employee relations, etc.).
  • Act as an advisor to management on HR-related matters.
  • Provide insights on workforce planning, employee engagement, and retention.
  • Prepare HR reports and presentations for management review.
  • Work closely with the admin department on shared responsibilities (office policies, safety, employee engagement, etc.).
  • Coordinate on tasks such as event planning, facility support, and compliance

Job Requirement

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • At least 5–7 years of progressive HR experience, with 2+ years in a senior role.
  • Strong knowledge of Myanmar labor laws and employment standards.
  • Excellent understanding of HR systems, processes, and strategic planning.
  • Strong leadership and team management ability.
  • Solid analytical skills in KPI setting and performance measurement.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.
  • Fluent in Myanmar and proficient in English
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint
