Position - Store Keeper (M/F - 1 Post)

Salary - Negotiate

Business - International Company

Working Days & Hours - Monday to Friday (8:30 AM ~ 5:00 PM)

Job Description: 

  • Make sure orders for distribution within the country, ensuring meticulous picking and packing of seeds.
  • Work collaboratively with various teams to meet delivery deadlines and ensure accurate fulfillment of orders.
  • Ensure that the quality and quantity of seeds meet the order.
  • Make the accurate input of data related to receiving and order preparation of cargo using the logistics module within ABS (Agro Business System).
  • Sort, organize and store inventory in the proper location following the 5S guidelines.
  • Thoroughly examine all incoming cargo shipments to ensure their quality and integrity are intact.
  • Maintain an accurate and up-to-date record of all transactions related to seeds.
  • Regularly update the product transaction database to ensure comprehensive and easily accessible records.
  • Participate in routine physical counts of stock to verify and reconcile actual inventory levels.
  • Identify and investigate any discrepancies between physical counts and recorded inventory.
  • Maintain close coordination with the Quality Assurance (QA) team for re-testing germination procedures and support germination testing processes and collaborate until the test results are obtained.
  • Collaborate with the plant to facilitate the transfer of non-compliant batches for proper disposal.
  • Actively engage in other logistics-related activities and tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

Job Requirement

  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field. 
  • At least 1-3 years of experience in a storekeeping or inventory management role, preferably within the agricultural or seed industry. Experience in managing agricultural inputs or products would be a plus.
  • Proficiency in Google Office Suite or related software. Experience with inventory management software or systems is a bonus. 
  • Strong organizational skills to maintain accurate records of inventory, orders, and shipments. 
  • Attention to detail to ensure proper labeling, storage, and retrieval of different seed varieties. 
  • Adaptability and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, where priorities may shift quickly.
  • Problem-solving skills to identify and resolve inventory discrepancies or issues that may arise. 
  • Time management skills to handle multiple tasks and ensure timely processing of orders and shipments. 
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and guidelines related to seed storage and handling to ensure a safe working environment.
  • A strong willingness to learn and adapt to new processes, technologies, and industry trends.
  • Team-oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues from different departments.
