Salary - Up to 1,000,000 MMK  + Ferry + lunch

Working Days & Hours - Monday to Saturday (7:30 AM ~ 4:30 PM)

Location -  Hlaing Thar Yar Township

Job Description:

The Production Manager is responsible for the planning, organization, and directing of the activities on the production floor.

• They are responsible for direct activities of assigned plant personnel and continuously drives improvement on the production floor.

• This role utilizes resources to achieve results in the areas of safety, production, scrap, and quality.

• They are additionally responsible for coordinating with plant support staff to complete safety training, quality training, preventive maintenance program implementation, capital forecasting and annual budgeting process.

• This role directly manages and leads the Production Supervisors and works closely with Human Resources to ensure the fair and consistent implementation of all plant personnel-related policies.

Essential Duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Monitors production department’s progress towards department goals.

• Create effective policies and procedures to ensure manufacturing operates at peak efficiency without compromising product safety or integrity.

• Work with supervisors and team leads to assigned employees and equipment for optimized manufacturing efficiencies.

• Inspects machines and equipment to ensure specific operational performance and optimum utilization.

• Monitors staffing and communicates future needs and concerns.

• Defines and recommends objectives in each area of manufacturing. Develops specific short term and long-term plans.

• Makes capital recommendations for budgeting purposes.

• Identifies and implements cost savings. Monitors and reports progress.

• Review production and operating reports and resolves operational, manufacturing, and maintenance problems to ensure minimum costs and prevent operational delays.

• Reviews production orders or schedules to ascertain product data such as types, quantities, and specifications of products and scheduled delivery dates in order to organize workflow to meet specifications and deadlines.

• Reviews production schedule to ensure equipment capabilities and maximum production efficiency.

• Coordinates new product trials with the Quality department.

• Coordinates manufacturing activities to ensure production and quality of products in accordance to said company's quality, and budget specifications.

• Reviews quality data with Quality Manager to ensure that quality standards are maintained.

• Ensures that safety procedures are trained and enforced.

• Keeps the correct parties informed on all abnormal or critical situations.

• Participates in and supports continuous improvement efforts throughout the plant.

 

• Support, train, and hold department responsible for compliance with safety rules and regulations.

Job Requirement

• Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Four to six years related experience and/or training; Experience in Plastics manufacturing is preferred

• Strong leadership abilities. Analytical and problem-solving skills. Good communication, presentation, and organizational skills.

• At least three years management experience in a plastic manufacturing environment required

 

• Advanced English 4 skills.
